Motorola unveiled a significantly revised version of the Razr, its flagship foldable smartphone. Initially it was thought that the Razr 2022 it would have been exclusive to the Chinese market, but some sources in these hours suggest otherwise. Perhaps there is hope for a release in Europe.
The design of the fold has been renewed: an update that makes the Razr equal to the latest generation of smartphones from the competition. The main change is in size: the OLED screen goes from 6.2 to 6.7 inches. The external mini display has also been enlarged, which now has a diagonal of 2.7 inches. For a direct comparison, the Galaxy Z Flip4’s mini display measures 1.9 inches.
Under the body of the Razr 2022 we find the new one Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the benchmark SoC of today’s high-end Android market. Motorola has also updated the photographic sector, with the main camera now being 50MP and featuring a state-of-the-art autofocus system and OIS optical stabilization. There is also a Dolby Atmos sound system. In short, important steps forward have been taken.
The device can also count on a new hinge, which means that various unprecedented angles of the screen are now possible. Contrary to what was circulating just a few hours ago, some sources are now claiming that Motorola is working on an international release of its Razr 2022.
