LG continues to work on improving the supply of OLED panels. LG Display is one of the key players in the OLED display industry, the company plans to strengthen its position by presenting a new line of panels 20-inch OLED.

The panels concerned are designed for consumer electronics: for example for PC monitors or for small televisions. LG plans to present its first 20-inch panels at the end of 2022. The new line complements the current lineup of LG screenwhich today already encompasses almost all other diagonals: from small 6-6.7-inch smartphone panels to larger televisions.

In short, LG intends to fill a gap that is currently not guarded by its competitors, but which could also meet the needs of many consumers.

LG’s president recently recalled the importance of the gaming segment to his industry. Partly for this reason, LG plans to focus on designing panels that can offer very low response times and extremely high color fidelity.

Of course, the Korean manufacturer will also continue to invest in more innovative products, including a 77-inch transparent OLED TV. Added to this are the new panels designed for tablets – which we’ll most likely see on Apple’s next iPads.
