Sound is part of the cinematic experience, which is why in recent years we have seen an increase in the production of equipment to turn living rooms into small cinemas. As part of IFA 2022, TCL just showed off a new soundbar with some very exciting features.

The new TCL RAY DANZ X937U has a rather long and almost unpronounceable name, but what it hides inside is worth mentioning.. The first thing to keep in mind is that it comes with RAY DANZ technology and of course from there it gets that name before the serial number that TCL adds to identify the handlebar model.

RAY DANZ is an acoustic reflector technology that aims to achieve a natural soundstage, without any of the gimmicks that can be created when playing sound and are reflected in the room where the sound equipment is located. This is achieved using calibrated reflectors and physical angle controllers.

Having seen what the technology is, let’s take a look at the technical specifications of this new TCL bar. The TCL Ray DANZ X937U consists of the panel itself, which is accompanied by a wireless subwoofer and two rear speakers, each capable of 7.1 channels..

It is Dolby Atmos compliant, so it is expected to provide more sound depth and is also DTS:X certified.. The total power that it is capable of is 1020 W, which is quite an impressive figure in terms of volume. The panel has physical inputs such as HDMI 2.0 and optical cable.

The bar is designed to work when connected to a TV though Also has Bluetooth connectivity in this way, it will be possible to send content such as songs from Spotify or other music streaming services or podcasts to be played using the bar’s sound system and without having to turn on the TV.

The new TCL Ray DANZ X937U was announced at IFA, although at the moment there is no release date for our market and we do not know its price.. We will be attentive to the announcements made by TCL in order to update its availability and price information as soon as possible. Also, we hope we can try it to share our experience.
