The General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) will make changes to the license plate combination of Spanish vehicles starting this autumn 2022, after the last applicable combination with the letter L (LZZ) was assigned on the Audi Q3 Sportback on 1 September. Recall that in Spain the DGT registration system consists of four digits starting from 0000 to 9999. It is also a combination of three letters starting with the order in the alphabet. That is, from “BBB” to “ZZZ”. This in particular allows more than 80 million vehicles to be registered until all combinations are formed as they change in sequence (BBB 0000, BBB 0001, etc.).
