Moore’s Law is Dead shared more about AMD’s next-gen RDNA 3 graphics cards. Both Navi 31 and Navi 32 reportedly use 5nm and 6nm chips, these chips are stacked on top of each other via 3D stacking in the former case.

The first is Navi 31, which is expected to form the basis of the most powerful RX 7000 cards. Tom from MLID claims that AMD is working on at least three different sku’s with this GPU under the hood. The top model combines 512MB Infinite Cache with a 256-bit memory bus and PCIe 5.0 x16 interface.

In terms of performance, there is talk of an increase of +90 to 130% compared to the RX 6900 XT (Navi 21), but power consumption will also increase significantly. The flagship gets a tbp of 375 to 450 watts, or as much as the RTX 3090 Ti at most. Currently, AMD plans to release the first sku’s with this chip in the fourth quarter of this year.

As for the Navi 32, the leaker doesn’t want to share the exact performance figures yet because graphics cards with this chip are only expected to be released in the first half of next year. Since the Navi 31 will perform roughly twice as well as the RX 6900 XT and the Navi 33 is comparable to the top RDNA 2 model, Tom estimates the Navi 32 will be around 20-50% faster.

Earlier this month, YouTuber discussed Navi 33.
