Now what have you done Snapchat is to launch one of the functions most requested by users who use the social network on a daily basis. And the fact is that the video editor has finally arrived on Snapchat. It may seem like it has nothing to do, but we found a feature that can put this application on par with tik tak.

In fact, one of the main differentiators of TikTok from the rest of the social networks is that it is a powerful video editor that has a huge number of elements and features to use. Even Meta-backed Instagram couldn’t create a built-in video editor like TikTok.

This video editor is called “Director’s Mode” or “Director’s Mode” if we translate it into Spanish. and, in fact, this is not something new. In April of this year, the social network announced that it was integrating a video editor into the app to make it easier for video creators to create new videos on the social network.

The video editor that Snapchat launches is a clear answer to the TikTok video editor.

Among the highlights of this new video editor, we found that effects can now be used when creating Snapchat videos. In fact, one of the most striking is chroma key or green screen, which is used when creating special effects in films or television.

There’s also the fact that all of these features are meant to create videos to be posted on Snapchat, but they won’t disappear in the next few hours. AS WELL ASThese videos will be stored on the platform in a section known as Spotlight. in which they can be seen again and again.

Now with these changes, Snapchat may be able to regain market share that was once taken from it, but for now, we’ll just have to wait. This new editor is available for both iPhone and Android, so all you have to do is check for updates. iPhone or Android to be able to start using the app.
