At least two airline pilots reported seeing unidentified “lights” in the sky pointing to possible unidentified flying objects (UFOs). The cases took place in the skies of Porto Alegre (RS) last Saturday (5) and were reported by the pilots of the TAM 3406 and Azul 4657 flights.
According to the pilots, the lights in question were flashing at different intensities. According to reports, the phenomenon moved quickly and continued to “rotate”, although it was not possible to see it completely.

The pilot of Flight 3406 Tam, which took off from Guarulhos to Porto Alegre, reported that UFOs had appeared during the trip. Then the pilot and tower controllers of an Azul flight saw it, too. They would be lights that quickly turned on, went out, and moved without blocking traffic. pic.twitter.com/SmwBpjLrHV

Although the incident has not been announced yet, the pilots also reported that the lights in question “slipped” in the sky. However, the possibilities of objects being drones or meteor showers were ruled out.
About two weeks ago, pilots of an Azul flight departing from São Paulo to Porto Alegre also reported seeing an unknown light in the sky. In this case, the light would have “followed” the aircraft for a certain amount of time.
