Half increases the privacy of younger users. In these hours, Facebook has added some features designed to increase the safety of underage users, such as protecting them from potential harassment and other sources of danger.

One of the novelties concerns the fight against non-consensual pornography and in particular against the dissemination of child pornography. Meta has announced that it is partnering with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). From this agreement a new platform was born, designed with the aim of providing a number of useful tools to facilitate the dissemination of revenge porn.

Meta then recalled measures taken last year to combat harassment on its social networks (including Instagram), for example by preventing “suspicious” adult users from interacting with minors, by blocking the ability to send private messages.
