iCloud for Windows he’s in trouble… to say the least. According to reports from more and more users, the Windows desktop version of iCloud would appear in the le feed pictures of some strangerswith major consequences for the privacy of those directly involved.

That was not enough, it seems I video created with an iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro and synced to iCloud are irreparably compromised. In other words: me files get corrupted and are difficult to repair, or their quality is compromised by a visual disturbance.

iCloud for Windows corrupts videos shot with an iPhone 14 Pro Max – writes a user on Reddit -, simply put: the videos look black with noise lines. Other times they are interpolated with still images from unknown sources, maybe even from the folder someone else’s iCloud. I’ve seen pictures of families with people I have no idea who they are, or pictures of football games and so on random images. Needless to say, this is an extremely concerning issue and I don’t feel very safe continuing to use the Clouds at the moment

At the moment the causes of the problem are not known and there does not even seem to be a ‘do it yourself’ solution. However, some users have tried uninstalling and reinstalling i Cloud for Windows without solving the problem in any way.
