President Joe Biden said in a speech in Washington on Thursday (16) that the last three flying objects shot down by the US last weekend were not Chinese spy balloons.

The statement comes after the downing of a Chinese balloon allegedly linked to a surveillance program flying over US airspace in the Asian country earlier this month. The object could have been dropped as a precaution.

The speech came after US congressmen demanded an official statement from the White House about the new UFOs seen in North America. In this case, ghosts followed by the subsequent overturning of unidentified objects have been recorded in Alaska, Lake Huron, and Canada, attracting the attention of people around the world.

“There is nothing to suggest that these last three flying objects are related to China’s spy balloon program,” Biden said at the time. The US president even raised the possibility of private companies for research purposes.

But rest assured, if there is any object that threatens the safety of the American people, I will take it down.” Also, Biden said the government has improved the radar system to catch potential new events.

According to the Pentagon, no debris has been recovered from the three most recent objects hit so far. A task force set up to investigate the case is expected to provide more details soon.

The responsible group, which includes the Ministry of Defense, was tasked with analyzing policy issues related to the culling of objects from other countries, determining the best way to ensure national security and avoid diplomatic confrontations.
