The MTS Urent exchange service launched the rental of powerbanks. At the current stage, rental is available in trial mode in Moscow, the company said in a statement.

The stations where you can rent powerbanks are shown on the app map.
The cost of renting a power bank is 90 rubles for the first hour and another 100 rubles until the end of the day, the cost of the next day is 199 rubles.
In a month, the number of charging stations connected to MTS Urent will increase to 3,000. The technological partner of the service is Get Energy.
In the future, powerbank rental will be available in all cities where there are partner stations.
The service plans to increase the number of charging stations to 20,000 in 120 cities in the country until the end of 2024. The increase in station density will also occur thanks to the connection of new technological partners.
“We are launching this project as a pilot, we hope that the rental of power banks will create additional value for the product and increase the frequency of use of our application by existing users, as well as attract new active citizens,” said Ivan Turinge , General Director of MTS Urent, whose words are quoted in the press -communication.
MTS Urent is a shared electric scooter operator in Russia and manages a fleet of more than 100 thousand electric scooters in 124 cities in Russia. Since the beginning of 2024 it has been part of the MTS ecosystem.
