Samsung announced this Friday (17) will bring game streaming to more model options on their 4K TVs. Samsung Game Streaming is compatible with Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce Now, currently reaching the AU7700 and Q70A models of branded TVs.
The manufacturer emphasizes the practicality of playing directly on their televisions, mostly because they are compatible with most modern Bluetooth controls. You can use everything from the Xbox 360 controller to the latest Series X controllers, including Elite models. TVs also support DualShock 4 and DualSense, as well as some computer controllers such as the Logitech F710 and F510.
The updated list of 2021 TVs compatible with Samsung Game Streaming is as follows:
- 4K UHD: AU7700, AU8000 and AU9000
- QLED 2021: Q60A, Q70A and Q80A
- life style: LS03A
- NeoQLED 2021: QN85A, QN90A, QN800A and QN900A
In thin lines, the company emphasizes that a Samsung Account is required to access the app store and download apps for game streaming. The company also reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Game Stream at any time without notice.
Subscription rules still apply
The rules for accessing xCloud and GeForce Now remain the same regardless of the device they are used on. That is, in addition to guaranteeing the ability of your connection to play properly, you need to pay for your subscription and check availability in your area.
xCloud gives you access to a large portion of the Xbox Game Pass catalog, while GeForce Now lets you stream a list of supported games (there are over a thousand) already in compatible libraries.
