AMD’s Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards offer up to 89% more fps per dollar than competing RTX 3000 and GTX 1000 SKUs. At least that’s what’s claimed in a slide shared by Frank Azor, the Red team’s head of games marketing. Additionally, most RDNA 2 models will be much more economical in gaming than Nvidia’s solutions.

For example, the entire RX 6000 series is compared to its corresponding Nvidia counterparts, with the exception of the RX 6600 XT, which was replaced by the 6650 XT. Based on Newegg prices and average fps as of May 10, the manufacturer concludes that ten RX 6000 cards offer better value for money in terms of frames per second.

The price differences largely correspond to the GPU overview as of the end of April.

The RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 offer 6 and 8 percent more fps per dollar than the RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 Ti. The biggest differences are found in the high-end and entry-level segment: when it comes to the RX 6950 XT, it claims +80% fps/$ compared to the RTX 3090, while the RX 6400 delivers up to 89% more than before. GTX 1050 Ti.

AMD will also do better in terms of efficiency, although this is not true of the entire series. The RX 6750 XT consumes around 13% more power than the RTX 3070, while the RX 6500 XT consumes at least 42% more power than the GTX 1650. These differences are not mentioned, and it is not clear in which game. based on these performance figures. As it pertains to first-party benchmarks, it seems more likely to pick titles that work better on Radeon GPUs.
