AOC has completed its range of gaming monitors with the Agon Pro AG274QZM. This high-end model is equipped with a 27-inch IPS panel that combines 1440p with a 240Hz refresh rate. Thanks to the mini LED backlight with 576 dimming zones, the display achieves a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, as well as HDR1000 certification. These powerful features come with an affordable price tag: the Agon Pro AG274QZM will be available from June 2022 with a suggested retail price of 1,299 euros.

The monitor offers GTG response times of 1ms, while Nvidia’s G-Sync should prevent tearing and stuttering. When it comes to color space, 97% of the dci-p3 as well as 100% of the ntsc color space is covered. Settings can be changed quickly using the included QuickSwitch remote, while the removable hood should help block out ambient light.

The built-in USB hub consists of four downstream type-a ports and one type-c connector, supporting 65W charging. There is also a kvm switch on the side that allows two computers to be controlled with the same keyboard and mouse. Image is provided by two HDMI 2.1 and displayport 1.4, while a few 3.5mm connections and two 5W speakers take care of the audio.

Since it’s a gaming model, AOC chose to equip the rear with several adjustable RGB strips. Additionally, users can choose between two icons projected at the bottom of the screen. In addition, the detachable stand provides tilt, swivel, swivel and height adjustment.
