Marvel Entertainment released the first image of the TV series on Echo, the character who was already introduced in the Marvel show about Hawkeye. In the recording we find the protagonist Echo played by Alaqua Cox The post announces the series’ release for 2023.

Echo’s origin story finds Maya Lopez, whose relentless behavior in New York follows her in her hometown as well. The girl must confront her past, reconnect with her Native American roots and rediscover the meaning of family and community if she is to move forward. Echo is also played by Chaske Spencer (Wild Indian, The English), Tantoo Cardinal (Killers of the Flower Moon, Stumptown), Devery Jacobs (Reservation Dogs by FX, American Gods), and Cody Lightning (Hey, Viktor!), featuring Graham Greene (The Secrets of Wind River, Longmire) and Zahn McClarnon (Dark Winds, Reservation Dogs).

Episodes of the series are directed by Sydney Freeland (Navajo) and Catriona McKenzie (Gunaikurnai). Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Stephen Broussard, Richie Palmer, Marion Dayre and Jason Gavin (Blackfeet). The co-executive producers are Amy Rardin, Sydney Freeland, Christina King (Seminole) and Jennifer Booth.

Recall that Maya Lopez’s character first appeared on the television screen in December during the Hawkeye TV series, for a project in which Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld played the show’s two main performers.

Alaqua Cox himself said of Echo:

I can say it’s great to have my own show after working on Hawkeye. I don’t know why I got this opportunity, but I’m grateful for it. And I’m happy to be able to represent the deaf community in some way.
