Apple TV+ at least 53 nominations for the Hollywood Critics Circle Awards Ted Lasso and Severance were the most nominated shows, with a total of 12 nominations each. Other major Apple titles such as Central Park, Dickinson, and Prehistoric Planet are also among the nominations.

Apple TV+ content is getting more relevant

“Ted Lasso” became the second most nominated comedy series in a row, including Best Actor Jason Sudeikis; Best Supporting Actress with Hannah Waddingham and Juno Temple; and Best Supporting Actor for Brett Goldstein, Nick Mohammed, and Toheeb Jimoh, in addition to four nominations for writing and directing. Also, the holiday special titled “Ted Lasso Presents: The Missing Christmas Mustache” earned a nomination for Best Animated Short.

Apple TV+ continues to demonstrate the quality of its content

Apple has always defended its strategy. quality versus quantity. Apple’s platform releases news every week, but focuses more on content of higher average quality. And it is precisely these nominations that show that to be true.
