Apple just launched watchOS 10.4 for Apple Watch, an update with many interesting new features. The new version arrives in the same week that Apple released its historic iOS 17.4 update for iPhone and iPadOS 17.4 update for iPads. The company also released macOS 14.4 for Macs with many new features.

To download this new watchOS update, simply go to: Follow the app on your iPhone, tap General, then tap Software Update. You can also do this from the Apple Watch itself in Settings > General > Software Update.

What’s new in watchOS 10.4

Apple stated that watchOS 10.4 includes new features, improvements and bug fixes for different Apple Watch models. The full list of new features that come with the new update shared by the company:

• The Tap to view full notification setting now gives you the option to use a double-tap gesture with your fingers to expand the notification.
• For security reasons, when the “Confirm with AssistiveTouch” option is activated, a code will be required to use Apple Pay and you will not be able to make payments by pressing the side button twice.
• Fixed an issue that caused some users to experience ghost touches on the Apple Watch screen.
• Fixed a bug that could prevent contacts from syncing to Apple Watch.
