Does it happen when you see someone’s Instagram stories and then go back as if you didn’t see them? And do you have to see all the posts to see the new ones?
Not only that, because the social networking option apparently hasn’t been working properly since yesterday, so for now, thousands of users are blaming a bug or update by the company.
According to Meta spokesperson Kristen Bay, the flaw is already known to the company: “Some people have been known to have problems accessing their Instagram stories. Work is underway to bring things back to normal. We apologize as soon as possible and for any inconvenience.”
It seems that the problem is with the social network server, so Instagram does not remember which story each user saw and makes it appear again.
Apparently what it does is it bounces you back on posts you’ve seen before, and the problem loops when someone posts a new story to your ‘feed’.
It is unknown how many users are currently affected and how long it will take for the social network to resolve this.
Instagram also announced that parents will soon be able to install VR monitoring tools on all Quest titles and use the new monitoring features available.
The idea is that they can send invitations to their teens to run tools and configure specific times to limit the use of options and We’re helping teens better manage their time on Instagram with new touches and reminders to get them to take a break‘” the company commented.
