WhatsApp, the most important messaging application in the world, is also focused on companies. Hand in hand with the Business variant it allows companies to communicate with their customers in a more agile manner.

Now, With the arrival of the WhatsApp Cloud API, they can make this even easierAs explained by Mark Zuckerberg, the businessman behind Meta (the Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp conglomerate).
“This is an important step forward in helping more businesses connect with people and help more people send messages to businesses they want to support, whether small or large,” Zuckerberg said in a statement.

As described, it will be an ‘all-in-one’ platform and simply more advanced than WhatsApp Business. That is, large companies will be able to market their products as in the Business version, but will be able to serve many more people and respond quickly to messages with the help of ‘bots’.
Companies will be able to create profiles with a description, contact information, products, and access a wide variety of messaging tools, among others. “Send your customers the information they expect, when they want it. They will also have a database where they can store client connections and a lot of information without having to go to other servers. All will be online or in the cloud with extreme security, they stated.

Everything will be -almost- free. Some functions will have an additional cost, which will be announced later.
