Despite being the most influential directors of the Marvel Cinematic Universei Russian brothers they would still like to make Marvel feature films and for that reason they spoke to AP Entertainment about their interest in getting involved in new potential projects, especially the X-Men.
Here are the words of the Russo brothers:
We are always open to a return, we love Kevin [Feige]Louis [D’Esposito]Victoria [Alonso], and all the actors. We’re very focused on AGBO right now, and we’re busy with projects like The Electric State, Battle of the Planets, The Gray Man. Let’s see how far The Gray Man goes, and we hope the audience will appreciate it.
Shortly after, Joe Russo said:
In my collection is Incredible Hulk #181, the comic in which Wolverine first appears, an important piece of the X-Men. It would be a nice project to take care of, find a new way to deepen it.
Finally, the Russo brothers recently talked about Chris Evans, and how the actor would be ideal in the role of Wolverine, despite the fact that Marvel audiences now inextricably associate him with the figure of Captain America.
