More than a month has passed since the premiere. Deadpool and Wolverine (Deadpool and Wolverine) continues to give us something to talk about. Off-screen, a glow begins to become apparent, and when the character turns around, the reflection in his eyes reveals that it’s wizard’s portal like the one Deadpool and Wolverine used to escape the Void.
Reynolds commented in another tweet that a version of the same sequence is included in the film, on one of the monitors that appears in the background at TVA headquarters. A Easter Egg which probably went unnoticed by the vast majority of viewers.
Hints about Gambit’s fate after Deadpool and Wolverine
Gambit’s smile suggests that someone came back to take him back to their universepossibly alongside other heroes from the pre-MCU era of cinema. Fans were quick to speculate that this deleted scene paves the way for Tatum’s character to get his long-awaited solo film as part of Marvel Studios’ expanded franchise.
In section Deadpool and Wolverine what we saw in theaters, the last on-screen appearance of Gambit, Elektra, and Blade shows them smiling as Wade Wilson and Logan leap towards the wizard’s portal opened by Cassandra Nova in their quest to leave the Void before Alioth can devour them.
