The first season of the series was done by Studio Madhouse, while the second was done by JC Staff. So you wonder who will be in charge of the production of the third season. The pause between the end of the second season and the start of production on the third will be remarkable, as One-Punch Man 2 was released in 2019.
Note that a live-action film about one-Punch Man is also in development. Directed by Justin Lin has been chosen by Sony Pictures to direct the feature film, with Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner also serving as screenwriters. The two were already working on Jumanji: The Next Lived and Venom.
One-Punch Man was born as a webcomic series created in 2009, created by the cartoonist One. Then it was Yūsuke Murata to draw. In 2012, the series was published by Weekly Young Jump. Then an anime was born from the manga, which also became very popular.
