Today, EIGHTEEN years ago, the first episode of #Lost. Nothing would be the same on TV. And I take it as a sign for the “Forms of Contemporary Television Seriality” course that I’m starting today @unibo. #citem pic.twitter.com/aE3X1EzxaJ

Many fans have underlined that Lost was a production that could radically change the perspective of television series worldwide. The writing quality of the project led to the success of JJ Abrams and Damon Lindelof. The latter, in particular, continued to work on TV series and released other great productions such as The Leftovers and Watchmen, showing that even with comics productions you can bring very high quality TV shows to the small screen.
The Lost TV series created by JJ Abrams, Damon Lindelof and Jeffrey Lieber for the ABC television network ran through May 2010 for 114 episodes. In Italy it was initially broadcast on Fox and then also came on Rai networks. Lost is currently available on the Disney+ platform.
