Sky confirms that Are dark materials 3 coming on Sky Atlantic (and on demand) from December: here is the new trailer localized in Italian. We remind you that the series is based on the literary saga written by Philip Pullman These dark thingsand will hit TV on December 5, with episodes inspired by the novel The Amber Telescope.
In the last chapter of His Dark Materials (based on “The Amber Spyglass”, the third part of the literary trilogy), Lyra, the girl of the prophecy, and Will, the new owner of the Subtle Blade, will have to go into dark places where no one has ever returned, to discover the truth. Meanwhile, the war against the Authority set up by Lord Asriel, Lyra’s father, draws ever closer, and the salvation of the worlds will demand a terrible price.
His Dark Materials is produced by Bad Wolf in association with New Line Cinema for BBC One and HBO. Dafne Keen and Amir Wilson lead a cast that is completed by Ruth Wilson as Mrs. Coulter, Simone Kirby as Mary Malone, Will Keen as Father President McPhail, Jade Anouka as Ruta Skadi, Ruta Gedminstas as Serafina Pekkala and James McAvoy as Lord Asriel.
New additions to the cast include Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Suicide Squad, Lost) as Commander Ogunwe; Jamie Ward (Tyran) as Father Gomez; and then Kobna Holdbrook-Smith (Zack Snyder’s Justice League), Simon Harrison (No Man’s Land, Everest) and Chipo Chung (Into the Badlands) will be the rebel angels Balthamos, Baruch and Xaphania. Finally, Amber Fitzgerald-Woolfe becomes Ama.
