First take today New Olympus, Ferzan Ozpetek’s fourteenth film, the acclaimed director’s first collaboration with Netflix, following the success of The Ignorant Fairies on Disney+. Nuovo Olimpo, produced by Tilde Corsi and Gianni Romoli, is a R&C Produzioni production with Faros Film. The film will be shot in Rome and will be on Netflix in 2023.

The film’s original subject and screenplay are the work of Gianni Romoli and Ferzan Ozpetek, the film’s photography is by Gian Filippo Corticelli, editing by Pietro Morana, scenography by Giulia Busnengo and costumes by Monica Gaetani. Starring the young actors Damiano Gavino and Andrea Di Luigi. Also in the cast are Luisa Ranieri, Greta Scarano, Aurora Giovinazzo, Alvise Rigo, Giancarlo Commare.
