The story is pretty original: Irene (Sissy Spacek) and Franklin York (JK Simmons) are a couple who discovered an inexplicably buried camera in their backyard years ago. It takes you to a strange desert planet.
They’ve been diligently guarding their secret ever since, but when a mysterious young man (Chai Hansen) enters their lives, the Yorks’ quiet existence is quickly turned upside down… and the surprising room they thought they knew so well emerges. they could imagine much more than meets the eye.
Prime Video has contracted services from SES and Intelsat to announce the premiere. They used their satellites to broadcast the first episode into space.
Contrary to what the press release says, it’s not technically an intergalactic premiere because the broadcast is “only” range of approximately 384,000 km, so it will not leave our galaxy. At least, it’s an intriguing presentation for a series that looks quite interesting with its approach and has important lead actors.
