Directv has entered the electronic sports (Esports) industry arena, aiming to become the fastest growing industry in the entertainment industry worldwide.

In Latin America, the company signed a strategic deal with 9Z Team, a Dale Play Group company, and publisher Francisco Postiglione, known as Frankkaster, through its streaming platform DGO.He leads the Esports teams competing at the highest international level.

The idea is to implement more dynamic and modern content in an industry that is building alliances that allow it to reach a growing audience in multiple ways, whether through linear channels, satellite, cable or the internet.

FiReLEAGUE Battle, the most anticipated Esports event of the year, was held in Buenos Aires on Saturday with the best of the video game Counter Strike: Global Offensive. And DGO will be there, accompanying Team 9Z who will wage a battle alongside another great Virtus Pro called Final Battle.
