Hideo Kojima would work on another game past Death Stranding 2, according to reports from two insiders. The confirmation of Death Stranding 2 by Norman Reedus seemed to have wiped out hopes of those who thought the game director was dealing with silent hillbut apparently this possibility still exists.
According to the latest report from the leaker Infinite Takes (formerly known as Tiffany Treadmore), Hideo Kojima two parallel projects: one is the sequel to Death Stranding, while the other still remains hidden in the mystery. The mysterious project would be: several years in development, according to the words of the leaker, and the announcement should have come as early as 2021.

As far as we know, Kojima is working on another game besides the Death Stranding sequel, and has been for a while. Presumably, things are going so well that we expected an announcement in 2021. #KojimaProductions

The insider Roberto Serranò seems to have the same opinion, he repeats the same concept on Twitter, but clearly defines that the other project is a survival horror inspired by Silent Hills, the reboot of the Konami series that was in development between 2012 and 2014 and was subsequently canceled. Serrano himself also believes that both projects are Exclusive to PS5.

At this point, two possible scenarios open up: o Kojima is actually working on a new Silent Hill or it could be working on the much rumored e mysterious Xbox exclusivewhich Kojima has been working on for a while, according to various sources.
In any case, an announcement does not seem far away. We just have to wait for official messages from Kojima.
