Razer has unveiled the Razer Kishi V2 this Wednesday, the second version of the acclaimed controller that It allows you to turn any mobile phone into a handheld console in the style of Nintendo Switch. Although this new version is only compatible with Android mobile phones with a USB-C port, the company assures that it will also release an iPhone-compatible variant later in 2022.

As the company said in a statement, this Razer Kishi V2 is inspired by the famous Razer Wolverine controller for consoles. They distinguish, for example, inclusion of the same high-quality buttons with brand new touch microswitches.

It also highlights the inclusion of a new Share button, which is reminiscent of controls for consoles and makes it easy to take a photo or video. The Razer Kishi V2 will also debut. two multifunction buttons that can be programmed to perform specific tasks. They are located next to the triggers.

On the other hand, the Razer Kishi V2 comes with the new Razer Nexus app, which, in addition to being able to customize some settings, also acts like launcher video games. All the services and names that we have installed on the phone will automatically appear in this place.

Finally, the Razer Kishi V2 launches design with updated bridge which facilitates the introduction of any smartphone without compromising the strength of the package. It has also been designed to be quite light (284 grams) and feel good in the hand.

The team also has a USB-C port on the bottom which allows us to charge our mobile device at the same time we use it. Thus, there is no need to stop the game when the mobile phone battery runs out.

Razer Kishi V2 will be available from today in the official Razer store. Its official price €119.99. Later this year, an iPhone-compatible version will arrive.
