Apple has decided to introduce emulators for iPhone and iPad after the official release of iOS 17.4, a welcomed software update. Major changes to App Store policy To comply with the European Union Digital Markets Act regulations.

When Apple denied UTM SE’s arrival on the App Store, they explained that PC games were not allowed, only retro game emulators, although most PC emulators are full of retro games.
Even so, in an X post the UTM developers announced that: Apple confirms PC emulator and it’s now available On the App Store.

There is currently no full list of all PC games compatible with UTM SE yet. However, we may see that it is possible to play on the App Store. Games like Doom and even Windows XP’s legendary epiphysis. UTM SE is compatible with iPhone, iPad and Apple Vision Pro.
