With a video posted to Twitter, Player First Games announced that: MultiVersus will be available in Open beta from July 26, 2022 on PC and PlayStation and Xbox consoles, complete with early access for July 19 for anyone who participated in the Closed Alpha in May or for those who obtained a code through the drops on Twitch.

To accompany the announcement also a new trailer which reveals the entry in the roster of iron giantwhich therefore joins the 16 wrestlers already announced, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Shaggy, Bugs Bunny and many others.
The developers then stated that the Open Beta will be just the beginning: in fact, the team plans to introduce in the coming months as well new characters, scenarios, cosmetic items and many other surprises. All progress and items acquired during the MultiVersus Open Beta will automatically carry over to the full game.

MultiVersus is a brand new free-to-play platform fighting game that features a 2 vs. 2 teams, 1 on 1, the free-for-all for 4 players and the Workshop (training mode) combined with an ever-growing cast of legendary characters. Among them are Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn (DC); Shaggy (Scooby Doo); Bugs Bunny and Taz the Tasmanian Devil (Looney Tunes); Arya Stark (Game of Thrones); Tom & Jerry; Jake the Dog and Finn the Human (Adventure Time); Steven Universe and Grenade (Steven Universe).
