The game continues the story of The Secret of Monkey Island And Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge, allowing us to experience a new pirate epic in the company of the “terrifying pirate” Guybrush Threepwood and many other familiar faces from the series. It has been many years since Guybrush Threepwood last faced his nemesis, the zombie pirate LeChuck, in a battle of wits and intellect. Elaine Marley, his great love, no longer fills the role of governor, and Guybrush himself is drifting, dissatisfied that he never discovered Monkey Island’s secret.
A new group of young and brutal pirate leaders, led by Captain Madison, have overthrown the old guard, Mêlée Island has taken a turn for the worse and famed entrepreneur Stan is in jail for ‘criminal marketing activities’.
Trade banter with old friends and new faces on familiar islands, now run by dangerous new bosses. Then take to the sea and explore unknown waters to escape difficult situations. Clever puzzles, bizarre circumstances and devastating rebuttal stand between Guybrush and glory.
