Nintendo would cancel Switch Pro, but it’s not all bad news

Over the past few years, we have repeated numerous reports on Nintendo Switch Pro, a version of the popular handheld console that will include higher-end hardware. However, time has passed, and to this day we still do not have such a product on the market. Of course, OLED switch there were special editions platoon 3 D Pokémon Purple and Scarletalthough this is not what the community expects.

What’s happening with the Nintendo Switch Pro? Well, the information is not encouraging. According to John Linneman, author Digital foundrya popular video game technical analysis website, In Kyoto, they did plan to launch a Pro variant, but it would have been cancelled.

“I think at some point, from what I was able to talk to some of the developers, there was some sort of mid-gen or upgrade to the Switch in the works. But looks like it won’t happen again“, he commented.

Of course, if Nintendo had the intention of releasing the Switch Pro, it would have done so a long time ago. In previous generations, Nintendo didn’t wait a few more years to introduce an improved version of its console. As such, it looks like the Switch OLED will remain the only major hardware upgrade.

However, Linnemann continues his meddling, hinting that whatever the company has planned for the Nintendo Switch Pro, we’ll see it on next-gen hardware.; which makes a lot of sense. The original Switch came out in March 2017, so it’ll be six years old in a few months. Yes, it’s about time the big N started taking notice of the new console.

Given the success of the Nintendo Switch, it’s unlikely that the company would venture a radically different product. If the hybrid format has overwhelmed sales, why change it? For this reason, it is only natural that they use the hardware that they originally planned for the Nintendo Switch Pro.

Previous rumors have indicated that the Nintendo Switch Pro will bet on 4K resolution, at least as long as it was connected to the TV. To do this, it will integrate a newer Nvidia GPU. Except, can support DLSSamazing zoom technology from green brand.

While we can already prepare for an avalanche of rumors about the new Nintendo console, you better get used to the idea that its release after 2023. That being said, there’s no doubt that the Switch’s successor will make a lot of noise next year.
