The incident occurred around 10 am when students at that institution heard gunshots from a mountain near a house they called Casa Vieja.

In the first incident, three gunshots were heard around the Egyptian quarter, and then clashes broke out when the Police intervened.
The incident occurred in the seventh race, east with avenue 9b-31. There, the shooter shot a 20-year-old boy and began pursuit with the Police, who reached the vicinity of Externado.

The victim was taken to the Guavio hospital, where he was declared dead.
It was learned that the deceased had no connection with the University of Externado. Police continue to investigate what happened in the area.
