Sid Meier’s Railroads debuts on touchscreens

A new entertainment option has been added to the innovations made available on the App Store in 2023. This week developer Feral Interactive confirmed Sid Meier’s Railroads debut on mobileComing April 5th on both the App Store and Google Store. And you can book now.

For those unfamiliar with the hit game of 2006, Sid Meier’s Railroads is a business simulation game where players build industries, railroads and stations. The game has a single player mode.therefore the mobile version will not include the multiplayer mode found in the PC version.

A full-fledged premiere

Feral Interactive has redesigned Sid Meier’s Railroads interface and controls to be compatible with touchscreens. The preview trailer shows clear examples of: new interface.

To travel this adventure, 16 challenging fictional and historical scenarios are proposed, each with a unique map and objectives.. For example, players can set up the first cruise line in 1830s England, connect the West Americas during the Gold Rush, or help Santa in the Christmas rush in the Arctic.

Feral Interactive has an excellent track record of porting games to mobile devices, as evidenced by their offering for Total War: Medieval 2, but this game is inherently best played on tablets. Feral Interactive is confident that Sid Meier will make a similar effort with Railways.

Title Available on iPhone 6S and later, any iPhone SE and 2019 iPod touch. Compatible with for iPad, iPad mini and iPad Air and later 2019 models, iPad 2017 and later, and all iPad Pro. It will be priced at 12.99 euros.
