On Friday morning, the Colombian Geological Service reported an earthquake. Magnitude 4.8, around 04:45 local time.

As noted, the epicenter of the telluric movement was at a depth of 40 km, with Antioquia being at Dabeiba.

In areas like Medellín, the earthquake would have been felt “quite strong”. Network users stated that they felt it in places like Bello, Apartadó, Belén, Jardín and even in other departments like Chocó.

Then there were two more movements in Dabeiba: the first was recorded at around 4:49 am at a magnitude of 3.1 and a depth of 54 km, and the second was recorded at a depth of 59 km and had a magnitude of 2.9.

It should be noted that a few hours ago, at around 01:06, another 4.4 magnitude earthquake occurred in Tufiño, Carchi province, on the border between Colombia and Ecuador.
