Ruth Maguire, 30, was last seen at her bachelorette party. The woman was happy to marry her boyfriend after a relationship of over ten years and three children.
He had a few days left to ascend the altar. Therefore, her friends wanted to have a stylish celebration at a bar in Carlingford, Ireland, where about thirty women came.
The party ended at midnight on Saturday, and because of the drinks, those chatting there forgot what it was. Some woke up in their hotel the next day, but Maguire did not.

He was to stay in a nearby cottage. In fact, her sister saw her posting a story on Instagram while she was walking to the site.
“You could see the door to a small cottage on the other side of the road. (This site was close to a pier,” Rachel Wilkinson told the Belfast Telegraph.
He never rested. The next day, no one explained his whereabouts, so the family remembered the short video that was uploaded to the social network, and the authorities started searching around the lake.

After two days of searching and searching, Maguire’s body was recovered from Carlingford Lake.
Irish Police described the incident as a “tragic accident” and stressed that there was “nothing to be said” about what would happen, the BBC news agency reported.
Eyewitnesses said they saw him say goodbye to everyone and leave before midnight. He would apparently get confused on the way and eventually drown in the lake.
“At least we’re not left with the uncertainty of wondering if someone bought it. At first my mom was worried she was hit by a car,” Rachel said.

He left unexpectedly a few days before the wedding, which was to take place on August 8, 2019. “All the children, his and mine, would be servants. There were 180 guests,” the sister added.
The marriage turned into a heartfelt funeral when friends and acquaintances fired her. At the request of the family, they dressed her in the wedding dress that she missed so much and buried it in her city.
The priest who presided over the funeral sent a message to his partner, James Griffin: “May he find you in the kingdom of God, dressed in white.”
