Just a few months ago, Netflix announced its willingness to enter the video game realm, launch a number of titles for mobile devices, and put many different types of projects in the pipeline for its subscribers. Now comes a new announcement on the matter, or the partnership with Boss Fight Entertainment.

Boss Fight’s mission is to provide players with experiences that are simple, extraordinary and hilarious in every game. Netflix’s commitment to providing ad-free games to subscribers allows us game developers to focus on making fun products without worrying about budget. We couldn’t be happier with the new partnership that will allow us to continue doing what we love, which is shaping the future of gaming on the platform with Netflix.

explained the company founders (born 2013) David Rippy (CEO), Bill Jackson (CCO) and Scott Winsett (COO).

From the Netflix press release we read:

We are still in the early stages of the great gaming experiences available with a Netflix subscription. Through partnerships with developers around the world, hiring the best talent and acquisitions like this, we intend to create a flagship studio that can offer a wide variety of enjoyable and engaging original games (ad-free and in-app purchases) to our hundreds of millions of subscribers around the world.

No titles in particular have been announced yet, but it seems that the presence of Netflix will gradually become the carrier, even if it will mainly be, at least for now, mobile and semi-indie titles.
