This is the summary:
Ida recently moved to town and is now the “new girl” at Winterstein School. She has a bit of trouble with the new class: Helen, mischievous, makes it difficult for her to make new friends, and on the first day of school there is only one place for her – next to the other child who has been excluded from the group, Benni. One day, the teacher introduces the children to Mortimer Morrison, who travels the world in search of “magic animals”. Each of these animals is destined to become a child’s soul mate. Ida the Newcomer and Benni the Excluded are the first kids in class to get a magical companion! From this moment on, Benni is joined by the elderly and wise turtle Henrietta and Ida by the cunning fox Rabbat. When missing items are still found at school, children and magical animals must work together to solve the mystery of the thief.
