However, Microsoft discovered a vulnerability called Migraine in macOS that allows you to bypass SIP and execute arbitrary code.
This vulnerability used special permissions to grant unlimited root access to Migration Assistant, which could lead to the installation of malware and rootkits.
Typically, Migration Assistant is only available during the installation process and requires physical access to the computer. Microsoft has changed the utility to run without logging out of the user.
It is worth noting that Apple has fixed the vulnerability in the macOS 13.4 update released on May 18. Therefore, users are advised to update their Mac to the latest version of macOS Ventura.
