Demand for crypto wallets has dwindled after peaking in popularity last year. Analysts from Yota found that in the spring of this year, traffic on such sources fell 35% compared to the same period in 2022.

Many users have lost interest in the new digital currencies. The increase in activity seen in March last year has not been repeated this year. From January to April, traffic in crypto wallets decreased by 30%.

Particularly, the interest of young people between the ages of 21-35, who were active users of new technologies and digital assets, has decreased. Last year they accounted for 61% of total traffic, but this year their share has decreased by 10%.

On the other hand, the older generation, who are generally more conservative towards new technologies, are starting to take an interest in digital assets. Users in the 50+ age category showed the biggest increase in traffic share, although their absolute numbers remained small.
