Tim Cook did a short interview on Good Morning America discussing the $3499 Vision Pro helmet.

The Apple CEO replied:

I don’t know. I think people will make different choices depending on their financial situation and so on. Engineering developments and deep engineering solutions in it are simply amazing. Performing more than 4K in each eye. Of course, it’s not free. It definitely costs money, but I think it’s worth it.

Cook also added that this product marks a turning point for Apple.

We started working on augmented reality a long time ago because it had a big idea, a deep structure. This is the next chapter in this version and it’s a big leap.
