Nasdaq dismissed Ozon’s delisting appeal. The company plans to resubmit it, until a final decision is made, Ozon’s papers will not be excluded from the exchange.
The Nasdaq stock exchange commission confirmed the decision to delist Ozon’s securities. This was announced by the market press service on its telegram channel.
Plans to remove Ozon’s shares from the Nasdaq stock market became known on March 16. On March 22, the company filed an appeal, but the decision was upheld.
Ozon will issue a repeat request to reconsider the delisting decision. The appeal will be filed within two weeks, Ozon said.
“We remain confident that we do not violate the rules and procedures of the exchange and will continue to protect the interests of our investors,” the press service noted.
Until the final decision on delisting is made, Ozon’s securities will not be delisted, the company said.
Trading in securities of Russian tech companies, including Ozon, was suspended on Nasdaq in February 2022.
