The Kazakhstani authorities did not establish restrictions for banks on operations in rubles, said the Minister of Finance of the Republic Yerulan Zhamaubaev. He noted that credit institutions independently assess the risks of sanctions and make appropriate decisions.

According to the founder of the MoneyPort cryptocurrency exchange, Alexander Faktorov, the so-called American financial landing is operating in Kazakhstan and Armenia, which ensures that rubles are not converted into dollars.

According to the Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan, the banks themselves assess the risks and make the appropriate decisions. There were no instructions from the authorities in this regard.

“In general, there is such a thing as KYC: know your customer. If the banking sector leaks certain points related to issues of sanctions and other risks, this is directly the work of the banks themselves. There were no instructions from the government, ”Zhamaubaev said, his words are quoted by Interfax.

In the Russian bank for entrepreneurs “Tochka”, the volume of payments in tenge in April increased by 75% compared to March, says Anna Davydova, head of the organization’s foreign trade import directorate.
