Leaks indicate that the RTX 4060 will hit the shelves already at the end of June, not in July as previously expected. However, the 16GB RTX 4060 Ti variant is scheduled to launch in the second half of July.
The decision to accelerate the release of the non-Ti version can be attributed to the unsatisfactory response to the RTX 4060 Ti. NVIDIA has set the price of the Ti model at $399, which did not arouse much enthusiasm in the user community.
One of the clearest examples is from Japan, where enthusiasts often line up late at night to purchase the company’s brand new adapters. Surprisingly, only one person showed up in the store for the premiere of a brand new product that highlights the lack of demand.
The RTX 4060 is expected to be priced at $299. Perhaps this is what will make potential buyers more interested in NVIDIA’s new product.
