It could be chief specialist in action and computer graphics, a team that has done such disgusting special effects that they literally scream heart-rendingly about their cheapness and flimsiness. The case when even the program director of the TV3 channel will not introduce such a film into the broadcasting grid.

It could be operator, based on the results of which a medical diagnosis can be made. Perhaps he often has epileptic seizures. Perhaps he has a syndrome of suspicion of creationism, while he can only shoot in a static position. Maybe he just doesn’t see well. Who knows?

Finally, it may be the main person on the site – director, who did not understand what he was filming, for whom and what effect he wanted for entertainment. Accordingly, at the exit from the hall, the only question that you heard from others will be: “what was it all about?”.

Imagine finding a movie that sums up all of the above problems at once. Represented? Terrible, right? I don’t even need to. I just went to see the new Russian science fiction film “Through Time” and now my butt is burning.

Someone will say that I’m just a hater and they didn’t bring us back. But, in all likelihood, in my life I watched a lot of different bad films. Some of them caused melancholy when the good ones were not screwed up, and you are qualified, which could have been filmed more interestingly. Some were downright boring. Some of the excitement is just due to bad casting. I just didn’t understand, because I simply can’t be an audience for all the pictures in a row.

For whom the film “Through Time” was made, it is impossible for me to determine – it is terrible in its wrapping and feelings.. There are such “holes” in the plot from the very first minute in the film that by the end of the film you can see the two-volume “How I spent almost two hours in torment” from the viewing.

In a few starting minutes, the director introduces us to the main character, makes sure that we are immediately convinced that this is the new Tony Stark. Charisma, charm, influence on others and that’s it. But it looks extremely clumsy and sometimes stupid, that it seems that in front of you is not Iron Man, but protagonist of the film “Dumb and Dumber”.

The manners of a genius and a billionaire, idiotic unreasonable acts, jokes of a fifteen-year-old schoolboy, a hipster beard – this is the image of the main character. Especially for his actions, we observe the entire timing.

And this despite the fact that there are at least three characters that are characteristic of the storyline, no less: the father and the main character and the mysterious woman from the fog. Didn’t bother to share more than three minutes of the story.

It probably wouldn’t help the movie, but perhaps we could at least understand why one of the manifestations is the main antagonist. Only in one dialogue slip phrases about world power, but they appear unreasonably and inappropriately. There is no way they can become adequate performance on the display, but what is happening here. frank game.

After acting on the mysterious island, everyone is shrouded in mist. A fog of mystery and idiocy. And the further we are immersed in this cloudy cloud, the more you feel deceived.

The origin story resembles a mosaic of popular science fiction films. It easily takes into account the manners of John Connor, frank homage to “The Butterfly Effect”, the likelihood of “Source Code”, “Back to the Future” and even, God forgive me, “Ivan Vasilyevich changes profession.” Scenes from the last character of the film, which can be seen on the screen of an open summer cinema. are carried over in time.

The movement of objects in space and time is chaotic, the whole plot revolves around a scientific base, reminiscent of several garages of handymen at a construction site. We are not talking about any epicness and scale here. All scenes filmed in the same meager decorations.

The story moves quite briskly, without giving the viewer time to take a break, and although you can try to answer questions on your own that are appropriate while watching.

Here the protagonist is a genius. He understood how temporary anomalies work in just ten minutes, and the rest of the characters very quickly stop responding to quantum jumps. As they say, – “Well, John, well, the Terrible! … Well, what’s so special about it?”

The director simply doesn’t move forward with the provided script. Dialogues and open between chapters are filmed just like an idiot

Unfortunately or, fortunately, it is almost impossible to tell in more detail, non-spoiler plot twists. Watching the film is difficult, the screenwriter is trying in every possible way to keep the harmony of the totality and even two unexpected twists in the plot, but he could not even explain part of the events taking place.
