List of Windows 11 compatible processors updated by Microsoftnow includes more components made by Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm. As highlighted by newin Last Monday (19), old chips and new models were added.

One of the highlights when it comes to Intel products is the support of the Core i9-13900KS running at 6 GHz, which was announced at the beginning of the year as part of the brand’s 13th generation processors. Chips for laptops include options like Core i5-1334U, Core i5-1335U, Core i5-1335UE and Core i5-13500HS.

Among AMD models, the latest version of the Microsoft operating system now supports AM4 socket-based Ryzen 3 4100, Ryzen 5 4500, Ryzen 5 5500 and Ryzen 5 5600 chips. Processors with built-in 3D V cache (5800X3D, 7950X3D, 7900X3D and 7800X3D) and Ryzen 7 7700 and Ryzen 5 7600 lines have also been added.

Continuing with AMD, the Ryzen 5 5625U, Ryzen 5 5625C, and Ryzen 3 5425U CPUs gained Windows 11 compatibility, as did various versions of the AMD 7000U series. It is worth noting that some older generation chips of the brand are also included.

Finally, List of processors supported by Windows 11 Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 gained existence, Beyond Microsoft SQ3, based on the same platform. Qualcomm’s product additions were smaller than those of competitors, but represent its ability to upgrade devices powered by them.

The chips were included after the release of the Moment 3 update for Windows 11 22H2 at the end of May and are compatible with this version considering there are other requirements for installing the system. The last update to the list of supported chips was in October last year.
