Samsung’s photo editor Galaxy Enhance-X launches for other premium phones of the brand. After a beta phase in the Galaxy S23 series, the app is available for high-end and foldable devices starting this Tuesday (20).

Making life easier for multiple users, software uses artificial intelligence to edit and improve image quality with just a few taps. This makes it possible to correct the lighting, eliminate shadows and incorporate HDR effects.

Galaxy Enhance-X includes “basic” image editor functions such as adjusting brightness and sharpening. The app even brings features that eliminate lens distortion and improve balance in portrait and face photos.

But, the biggest draw is different AI tools to edit images. The Magic feature, for example, uses deep learning to automatically correct any noise and blur with a single tap.

Galaxy Enhance-X’s HDR function optimizes shadows, brightness and contrast by expanding the dynamic range of the image. That being said, the app offers a feature that removes shadows from glossy photos.

Another emphasis is Luxe function that improves the quality of images under 1 MP up to four times. Finally, Old Photo feature uses artificial intelligence to retouch old photos or damaged without changing the details of the original recording.

Galaxy Enhance-X can also be used to edit old photos.
