The same deal is also planned for two other Indian shipyards: Mumbai-based Mazagon Dock Limited and Goa Shipyard.

“These agreements will allow US Navy ships to undergo on-the-fly maintenance and repair at Indian shipyards, which will help cost-effectively support US military operations in various battlefields,” the statement said.

India will purchase MQ-9B Sea Guardian military drones from the USA.
