As nutritionist Lisa Marley points out, there are foods that will help keep cholesterol levels in check and also keep the body hydrated. There are four such products.

Watermelon. It contains 92% water and you should aim to eat 160 g of watermelon per day. Additionally, this product contains the antioxidant lycopene, which has been linked to lower levels of total and “bad” cholesterol.

Cucumber. This is another “moisturizing” product that is 95% water. It also contains soluble fiber, which lowers cholesterol levels.

sweet paprika. It is considered a good source of soluble fiber. This fiber is known to help lower cholesterol levels. It is best to eat one paprika a day for maximum benefits.

soy yogurt. It is rich in water and low in saturated fat. All this has a positive effect on cholesterol levels.
